The Goron Temple is a temple found on Goron Island from Phantom Hourglass. Link cannot access the dungeon until he becomes an official member of the Goron tribe by completing a quiz made by the head Goron of the island and traveling through a maze. Link finds bombchu, an item not seen since Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, in the temple after a unique puzzle where the player must alternate between control of Link and Gongoron to press a series of switches. Later, with the help of Gongoron, Link defeats the boss, Dongorongo, and obtains the Crimsonine, the first of the three Pure Metals needed to forge the Phantom Sword. It is optional whether the player completes this temple before or after completing the Temple of Ice.
