Game Boy Advance SP
From Zelda Wiki.org
The Game Boy Advance SP (as in "special") is the second version of the Game Boy Advance. The Game Boy Advance was redesigned with a front-light screen, so that players can see the screen more easily in the dark, as well as a physical redesign giving the system a flip-book design protecting the screen from damage and adding also a rechargeable battery.
Over the four years since its release, Nintendo have issued many special designs of the new system, such as a design resembling the classic NES colors and special Pokémon designs. A special edition golden The Legend of Zelda-themed SP was available, coming bundled with The Minish Cap. It was available for sale only in Europe, and available in the United States only through special giveaways.
The SP was re-released a short time after the Nintendo DS came out, with a new back-lit screen, as it was a brighter alternative to the previous front-lit design. The new back-light version is now standard and shares the same screen quality of the original Nintendo DS, which itself was later updated with a new back-light design known as the Nintendo DS Lite.
