Frypolar (ファイス,
Fice) was a flame/ice spirit that took its home in the
Sword & Shield Maze in
Oracle of Seasons. It seemed invincible at first to
Link but after a few hit and miss attempts he found the specter's weak point. By hitting its flaming body with
Mystery Seeds, it would revert to its ice state. Then Link pummeled it with
Ember Seeds and after a while he laid the ghost to rest. While in its fire state, Frypolar could summon rings of flames to harass enemies and when in ice form, the spirit could summon icicles out of the ground to impale foes. Link could also defeat him in his fire form by shooting his ice form's ice crystals with mystery seeds, then hitting Frypolar with mystery seeds. Link could then use his power bracelet to pick up an ice crystal and throw it at Frypolar.
