Twilight Princess[]

In Twilight Princess, three frogs can be found by the stream near Rusl and Uli’s house in Ordon Village. Wolf Link can speak to the frogs, and the first one tells him about sparkly patches on the ground. The second frog tells him to dig around for buried treasure or clues. The third frog just ribbits.[4] Wolf Link encounters another frog while carrying the wounded Midna to Princess Zelda. This frog directs Link to Telma's Bar, through which he can enter the Castle Waterways.[4]

Phantom Hourglass[]

Main article: Golden Frog

In Phantom Hourglass, six Golden Frogs appear in several locations throughout the World of the Ocean King. If Link hit them with a shot from the Cannon, they will show him a Cyclone Slate Symbol that can be drawn onto the Cyclone Slate to Warp via Cyclone to the location the symbol was learned.

Skyward Sword[]

In Skyward Sword, the Fire Sanctuary and the path leading up to it have ornate carvings of open-mouthed Frogs positioned over fire barriers. Their mouths must be filled with water to turn off the flames. Outside the Fire Sanctuary, the two small Frogs' thirst can be quenched with a Empty Bottle filled with water from a nearby pool, while the large frog requires a whole cauldron of water transported from Lake Floria. Inside the Fire Sanctuary, the water is derived from Water Fruit.
