Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland^[2] (もぎたてチンクルのばら色ルッピーランド, Mogitate Chinkuru no Barairo Ruppī Rando, lit. "Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rose-Colored Rupee Land") is an action-adventure that was originally released in Japan on September 2, 2006. It was released roughly a year later in Europe. It's unknown whether it'll ever be released in America. There is currently a poll for whether or not it should be released in North America.^[3]

The story starts when Tingle is an ordinary, middle-aged man who is offered a life in a paradise called Rupeeland. Tingle is guided by Uncle Rupee, who tells him to gather a bunch of rupees and toss them into a magic spring in order to gain access to Rupeeland. Pinkle, a fairy that communicates to you via a computer that resembles a DS (as well as the Tingle Tuner) also helps you. As you explore, you will find treasures and as you beat enemies you gain ingredients for concoctions such as potions and meals that you can sell to the locals in a nearby town called Port Town. Being not much of a fighter, Tingle hires bodyguards throughout the game to aid him in combat (though he fights the bosses alone).

Bodyguards

Each body guard is hired for a different amount of rupees, and each has their own strength and personality (for example, Bosco and Generalissimo are both equal in strength and health, but Bosco loves to beat up monsters while Generalissimo would rather play his drum and not help Tingle). There are 30 bodyguards in total. Bodyguards 1-9 are available only on the first continent, 10-18 on the second, 19-27 on the third, and 28-30 are drifter bodyguards, the most poweful bodyguards.
