Fire Dungeon
From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia
A Fire Dungeon may refer to any of the fire themed dungeons of The Legend of Zelda series.
Characteristics
Dungeons related to this element, often located in volcanoes and fire-covered areas, are characterized by heat-based hazards such as lava or fire. These dungeons feature puzzles that are in one way or another related to removing or creating fire, although others have more to do with the use of Bombs. Moving platforms in lava are a common puzzle element, as are lava flows and jets or walls of flame. As they are often located in rocky or subterranean areas, dungeons with this theme are often also earth-themed.
