The Fairy of Winds is the fairy who resides inside the Gale Boomerang in Twilight Princess.[1] After Ook's evil influence is defeated in the Forest Temple, the monkey escapes, leaving the Gale Boomerang behind. The boomerang then hovers on its own and reveals the spirit within the item as the Fairy of Winds, who thanks Link for having freed her from evil.[2] Now that her true power is back, she asks for Link to take the boomerang with him and use her power and blessing to aid him in his quest.[3]The Fairy of Winds is never seen and is only spoken to once when Link first receives the Gale Boomerang, and as such, she plays only a tiny role in the events of the game and is never spoken of again.
