Dark Hyrule Castle was the result of Vaati's power. He changed the original Hyrule Castle, turning its inhabitants into stone and bringing in many of Vaati's fiercest monster minions. This was the final dungeon of The Minish Cap and has no proper reward, although it does let you obtain the Four Sword. Its mini-boss was the Black Knight, the strongest of all Darknuts.
For some reason, the symbol on the banners of Dark Hyrule Castle bear vague resemblance to the Sheikah emblem.
