WiKirby is an independent wiki, founded by former Zelda Wiki Administrator, Axiomist, and Zelda Wiki staff on January 28, 2010, that focuses on all aspects of Nintendo's Kirby franchise and relevant spin-offs such as the Super Smash Bros. Series. On May 21, 2010, WiKirby was the first wiki inducted into the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance.
Philosophy
WiKirby is meant to be a more "fun" wiki to match the tone of the Kirby series. Many of the templates, navigation boxes, and other designs involve large borders with rounded edges and Kirby themes. Some boxes even include Kirby's eyes and mouth. Axiomist stated that he wanted the wiki to draw in more readers and editors this way, as it would attract many seasoned and casual Kirby fans alike.
