A Signature on a forum usually comes in the form of an image and some lines of text. Most users have signatures turned on and thus they are displayed after every post they make on the forum. Some people on forums (such as Zelda Universe) master the art of signature image makings. Also known as a "sig" or "siggy". Normally, a signature can only be a certain amount of characters long, and can only consist of codes that the head Webmaster allows. (Such as the "[HTML][HTML]" code. Signatures are made to present a user's feelings about something, their art work, etc.
