Cheep-Cheeps are tiny fish that dwell in the many waters of Koholint Island, Labrynna and Holodrum. While swimming underwater, use Link's sword to quickly eliminate them, but don't be scared- they do not pose much of a threat. The Hylian waters of Four Swords Adventures also has Cheep-Cheeps in the typical small size and a few extremely large ones.
Cheep-Cheeps are actually very common enemies in the Mario series and have been in it since the very first game. There are many different species of them. Some have wings and can fly, while others are very civilized and can live above the water.
Tingle's Balloon Fight
A large Cheep-Cheep also appears in Tingle's Balloon Fight. If Tingle grazes the water too closely, it will leap out of the water and grab him. It will also target any other enemies that drift by.
Strategy
Cheep-Cheeps are not hard to kill, a single slash of the sword being enough to kill them. The only thing Link must watch out for is the way in which they move.
