The Bomber is a fungal enemy which appeared in A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening. These mushrooms have adapted over times to sprout wings and become sentient creatures. They prowl around well watered areas and fields, seeking out prey or enemies to their domain. If a target is spotted, the Bomber will discharge an explosive substance similar to a bomb onto the enemy, which will destruct on contact with the target or nearby ground. They use their wings to their advantage, dodging close-range weapons like swords, although if one is fast enough, it can be done. They often hold a fairy within their body that is released when destroyed.
