The
Bomb Arrow is a combination of the
Arrow and the
Bomb (a Bomb that is shot) that appears only in
Link's Awakening and
Twilight Princess. It is essentially an exploding arrow. To use it in Link's Awakening, equip the
Bow and
Bombs, then press the buttons at the same time. To use a Bomb Arrow in the Wii version of Twilight Princess, move the cursor to any variety of bomb and press Z to assign Bomb Arrows to the B Button. Note that a bomb arrow can detonate and hurt Link just like a Bomb. Bomb Arrows consume both a single bomb and a single arrow per shot. But be careful, as if you hold the Bomb Arrow to the bow for too long the bomb will explode and you will take damage.
Bomb Arrows also appear in Link's Crossbow Training when holding the trigger to "charge a shot".
