The Legend of Zelda
In The Legend of Zelda, the Blue Ring is a defensive artifact that cuts all damage Link takes in half. It is not as powerful as the Red Ring, which reduces damage to a quarter of its original amount. From the starting point, Link must travel north one screen, west three screens, north three screens, and look beneath the Armos Statues. The Merchant in the secret shop there sells the Blue Ring for 250 Rupees. In the Second Quest, it is located in the furthest northeastern corner of the overworld map. Once worn, Link's tunic changes to a periwinkle color.
Oracle of AgesBlue Ring found in Oracle of Ages has the same effect as the one found in the original The Legend of Zelda: reducing all damage that Link takes by half. However, it does not change the color of his tunic.
Four Swords Adventures
- Main article: Blue Bracelet
Although the Blue Ring does not appear in Four Swords Adventures, the Blue Bracelet found in each stage serves the same purpose.
