Mushroom Kingdom II is a stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee. A Birdo sometimes appears on the stage.
Birdo (Species)
They appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee on the stage "Mushroom Kingdom II". They throw eggs at players that can be caught in mid-air and be used as very powerfull projectiles.
Birdo (Character)
There is also a spin-off character named Birdo (she is named after her species). She has some sort of a relationship with Yoshi, whether they are related, married, boyfriend and girlfriend, engaged (Birdo wears an engagement ring) or just friends.
Birdo's origins and identity are a source of some dispute.
