Beth (ベス, Besu) is a young girl from Ordon Village who always hangs out with Talo and Malo, but thinks that they are both immature. She also seems to have an interest in Prince Ralis. She is the daughter of Sera and Hanch, who own the item shop. She hopes to go to the city one day. She is very joyful and caring and has a bit of a crush on Link similar to characters in previous Zelda games. She has a stuffed doll attached to her back on a belt as seen in concept art. Also, her red hairbow is on the left side in concept art, and in the Gamecube version of the game, but is on the right side in the Wii version of the game.

Later on, after witnessing Colin's brave action in pushing her away from the danger of King Bulblin, she begins to crush on him instead and cares for him when he gets rescued by Link. She then helps out Colin later on. Beth is evidently best friends with Luda from Kakariko Village. Beth and Luda can be seen hugging in the end credits as Beth departs back to Ordon.

Trivia

Comically if you attack any of them with any weapon Talo and Beth will avoid your attack, but if you hit Malo, his head will fling around. A similarly comical effect occurs if you hit him with a slingshot.
