Beetle King Form
The Beetle King appears in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland as the boss of Insect Cavern. Tingle must destroy him by dropping numerous Tingle Bombs on his face.
Undiscovered Parasitic Insect Form
After it appears as though Tingle has destroyed the Beetle King, it's remains will suddenly morph into a new monster, only known as Undiscovered Parasitic Insect. This form of the boss is much larger, stronger, and faster. When destroyed, it's body will yield 40,000 rupees.[1]

It has been speculated by many fans that this boss is the same as the one in the Hero's Shrine Dungeon, Ultra Lord Death Bug, although it was destroyed during that battle. The reason for this belief is due to the fact that the bosses are both similar in appearance and title, and that they are both fought the same way. It should also be noted that this boss changes its form often, thus meaning that if it was the same, it could very well have slight alterations.
