Bananas were a trade item that Link recieved after giving Dog Food to Sale in Link's Awakening. When Link gave Kiki near Kanalet Castle the bananas, Kiki in turn created a bridge for Link to cross in order to reach the inner parts of Kanalet Castle.But in the process they left behind a stick.
