In Phantom Hourglass, Link is told to find the three Pure Metals: Crimsonine Steel, Azurine Steel and Aquanine Steel, so Zauz can forge the Phantom Blade. The first metal, Crimsonine, was found in the Goron Temple with the help of Gongoron, after defeating Dongorongo. The second is Azurine, found in the Temple of Ice after defeating Gleeok and breaking the curse on the Yook. The final Pure Metal, Aquanine, was found in Mutoh's Temple. It was a sacred treasure kept in King Mutoh's Tomb. After defeating a monster disturbing his sleep, Link earned the pure metal.

Crimsonine Steel

Crimsonine Steel is one of three steels needed to forge the Phantom Blade in Phantom Hourglass. Link obtains it on Goron Island, after defeating the monster Dongorongo in the Goron Temple.

Azurine Steel

Azurine Steel is second of three steels used to forge the Phantom Blade in Phantom Hourglass. Link obtains it after fighting a Gleeok in the Temple of Ice.

Aquanine Steel

Aquanine Steel is third of three steels used to forge the Phantom Blade in Phantom Hourglass. Link obtains it after defeating Eox in Mutoh's Temple.
