The Tingle Brothers, consisting of Tingle, Ankle, Knuckle, and David Jr., feature in The Wind Waker and The Minish Cap.

Description from The Minish Cap's Tingle Siblings? figurine

File:Tingle_Siblings_Figurine.gif
Tingle (in green) and his twin younger brothers Ankle (in purple) and Knuckle (in blue). They believe fusing Kinstones will help them meet fairies, so they are recording Kinstone data on their maps. David Jr. is not technically a relative.

Ankle

File:MCAnkle.gif Ankle, who considers his twin Knuckle to be lazy and good-for-nothing, was taught how to decipher maps by his older brother, Tingle. The only time he feels he can truly be himself is when he's tending to the flower garden on Tingle Island. His favorite proverb is "One may as well hang for a stolen sheep as for a stolen lamb." Ankle later appeared in The Minish Cap and considers fusing Kinstone Pieces with Link. He appears in Lon Lon Ranch and will be worried about Knuckle and of his whereabouts.

Knuckle

File:MCKnuckle.gif Knuckle can be found in The Wind Waker only by using a link cable to connect a Game Boy Advance to the GameCube. Then using the Tingle Tuner, you can find him by going to Outset Island and stepping into the boats on the beach, he will appear on the Game Boy screen and will tell you to go to certain locations around the island, and after you complete this he will appear on Tingle Island saying he will stay at home. His reason for leaving was because he built Tingle tower, and got angry at Tingle for writing "for Tingle only." Knuckle later on appeared in The Minish Cap and appeared in Trilby Highlands. He has some Kinstone Pieces to fuse with Link and he seems to hold a grudge against David Jr.

David Jr.

File:MCDavidJr..gif David Jr. first appeared in The Wind Waker at the top of Tingle Island. There he was enslaved by Tingle and forced to work endlessly with Tingle's twin younger brothers, Ankle and Knuckle. The curious thing about David Jr. is that he is not related to Tingle, despite the uncanny resemblance (that is why his face looks more frowny than the others and he does not have the red spirals on his cheeks). Originally he was from Windfall Island and the son of the traveler that wrote the Ghost ship's chart (presumably David Sr.). But he got captured by Tingle to work mercilessly for him to support Knuckle. He is prone to complaining.

David Jr. again appeared in The Minish Cap along with the rest of the "Tingle siblings", but this time he was not enslaved and actually appeared to enjoy the company of his "brothers". In the game he aided Link by informing him how many more "Kinstone Fusions" he had left to complete.
